Florence Aragon
Acoma Pueblo
The daughter of Lupe Aragon, Florence Aragon was born into Acoma Pueblo on May 31, 1929. She learned to make Acoma pottery the traditional way from her mother. Florence is the mother of John F. Aragon - another noted Acoma potter. She made pottery for more than 30 years and earned awards at Santa Fe Indian Market, Gallup InterTribal Ceremonials and the New Mexico State Fair.
