The daughter-in-law of Carolyn Concho, Alisha Sanchez is also a potter from Acoma Pueblo. She graduated from the University of New Mexico a few years ago and moved back to the pueblo. She settled in with George Concho and learned to make pottery from his mother, Carolyn Concho.
In 2017 Alisha earned the First Place ribbon at Santa Fe Indian Market for painted polychrome pottery in the style of Zuni, Acoma, Laguna, any form. She also earned a Second Place ribbon that year at Santa Fe for a traditional miniature piece.
