Mata Ortiz

The wife of Mata Ortiz potter Vidal Corona, Luz Elva Gutierrez also makes pots in Mata Ortiz. She seems to specialize in painting hummingbirds, flowers, rabbits and nature designs on small vases.

I've seen a few lidded jars by Luz Elva with lids sculpted and painted to look like hummingbirds in flight. She's also made some squarish/pentagonal/hexagonal/octagonal jars with different geometric openings and designs.
