Mata Ortiz

Diego Valles is both an engineer and a potter from the village of Mata Ortiz. Over the last decade he has earned an international reputation as a master potter and has earned awards in virtually every competition he has ever entered. He sometimes collaborates with his wife, Carla Martinez.
