Dianna Tahbo

Hopi

Dianna Tahbo was born in 1960, a member of the Spider Clan. She and her brother Mark Tahbo learned the traditional way of making pottery from their great-grandmother, Grace Chapella.

Dianna began producing pottery in 1980 and developed a unique blend of traditional and contemporary Hopi designs. She earned many awards over the years, including one from Santa Fe Indian Market for "Best of Miniatures." She died in the spring of 2011.
