Born at Jemez Pueblo in 1964, Felicia grew up surrounded by a large family of traditional potters. She made her first pieces of her own around the time she turned thirteen. She considers her mother, Grace Fragua, and sister Rose to have been her teachers but she also counts Emily Fragua Tsosie, Bonnie Fragua, Cindy Fragua, Clifford Kim Fragua and Carol Fragua among her siblings and potting relatives.
Felicia began actively producing pottery in 1978 and works mostly with polychrome jars and bowls, nativities, storytellers, and animal and human figures.
Notice the Fragua trademark: large dots on the cheeks and small dots around the edges of the large dots.
