Anderson Jamie Peynetsa
Anderson Jamie Peynetsa is the son of Anderson Peynetsa and Avelia Peynetsa. Among his aunts are Priscilla Peynetsa and Agnes Peynetsa, also well-known Zuni potters.
Born in 1997, Jamie is an up and coming young potter who says his inspiration to make pottery comes from watching his father making pottery as he grew up. When he got to Zuni High School and the pottery class, he excelled, earning a First Prize ribbon at the Heard Museum Indian Art Fair & Market when he was 17. Jamie has earned more major ribbons since, competing in the adult categories.
