Laurencita Herrera (1912-1984) was a Cochiti Pueblo potter. She married Nestor Herrera, a drummaker, and they had at least 9 children. Two of them became potters: Mary Francis Herrera and Seferina Ortiz.
Laurencita made pottery from the early 1920s almost until she passed on. She was one of the participants in the 1979 One Space/Three Visions exhibit at the Albuquerque Museum. She mostly made polychrome bowls, jars, canteens, storytellers and other figures.
