Jamie Zane Smith

Wyandot

The nephew of Richard Zane Smith, Jamie Zane Smith is also a Wyandot potter.

Jamie learned his craft from Richard but he lives in the Ozark Mountains in southwestern Missouri. He told me he, his wife and their two daughters live in the schoolhouse his wife attended as a child.

In early February 2020, I met his in-laws here in Santa Fe. They were raving about how beautiful his work is, especially his most recent stuff, until I said "You're preaching to the choir." And we all had a good laugh.
