Kimo DeCora is an award-earning potter from Isleta Pueblo. His heritage is 1/2 Isleta, 1/2 Winnebago. He specializes in delicate black-on-white miniature pieces, usually decorated with Mimbres-Revival designs.
Kimo learned the basics of making traditional pottery on his own but he also learned through watching Cipriano Romero Medina and John Montoya working.
In conversations with Kimo I have found he has a excellent, but very dry, sense of humor.
